This time I have I feel got better.

The image below is one of my latest attempts and I'm sure you will agree that it is coming along well.

Yes I know some issues continue to haunt but we will get there in the end!

The photo was taken by me at the recent Brighton Run Rally held yearly here in London. Starts from Regent St. to Brighton. - the date as I recall was sometime in 2006 - maybe August.

Do let me know what you think and any comments are most welcome.

Your struggling anaglyphologist!

I'm back again after many weeks but feel much more knowledgeable now and confident using Photoshop to try and create that perfect anaglyph but this seems to escape me all the time...for the time being! ;-)

I wanted to post this latest attempt. The subject again is that event in St. James Park last year. This time its an Anti Aircraft Gun safely pointing into the trees! ;-)

I feel I am getting to grips with the colours and the ghosting which has always plagued me!

Let me know what your thought are on this one!

Best wishes

Do we need it! What can we achieve with it? Is it worth pursuing!

What is the definition of 'Anaglyph'

A moving or still picture consisting of two slightly different perspectives of the same subject in contrasting colors that are superimposed on each other, producing a three-dimensional effect when viewed through two correspondingly colored filters.

This is my space to deliver my workings with Anaglyphs and 3D Stereo Digital Photography.

I start with this recent example - It's a shot I took last year in St.James's park London.

We used Photoshop to create the anaglyph image.
This has been an interesting learning experience for me and I have learned lots. Computers, Images, Colour adjustments, Layers etc. etc. and have still a long way to go!

But watch this space!

I first have to thank Sue, Shereen and all at Millman Street Community Centre in Camden for providing a great and supportive Centre where we can come, learn, chat and share and where I have been able to persue my Photography interests.

UKOnline, Camden have been very helpful in providing me with support and equipment at Millman St. Centre to achieve all I have and I am most grateful to them. They are doing superb work.

http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/leisure/libraries-and-online-learning-centres/uk-online-centres.en

I am presenting this shot also as an oval shaped image and am interested in the effect this achieves.

Over the coming weeks we will be putting new images on this blog so do keep coming back for more.

NOTE: Of course you will not see the 3D effect without having a pair of 3D Glasses on. You can get these in various places - in particular at The Widescreen Centre in London. Here's a link.

http://www.widescreen-centre.co.uk/

I also noticed this site the other day!
Interesting!?

http://www.rainbowsymphony.com/index.html

Do remember to post your comments which will be most appreciated.

Regards

GR
